I'm looking for seasoned musicians to join a British Invasion band, playing songs from the sixties to the present day..............with the emphasis on the older tunes. You don't have to be British ( but it does help if you're Paul McCartney ) just realise that the show will be featuring all British songs.

The object of the band will be to play parties/corporate events etc. In other words no bars......except when we start just so we can knock the show into shape. I think there is a market out there far greater than the local bar scene.

I'm looking for all musicians male or female. I will be the bass player and one of the lead singers, and I would like to share the lead vocals with at least one more person. If you can't sing lead, backing vocals will certainly be helpful.
Obviously if you have great chops you should apply but this is not a pre-requisite. I'm looking for people with a professional attitude first.

You must realise this is a new project and will take a lot of work to get started.......don't be put off, if I suddenly find that tomorow we have a full band we'll book some bar gigs straight away just to get in the groove so to speak. My point is I want to work with people who treat this as a business, albeit a FUN one, and who realise what it takes.

I personally think there's a big market for this type of show. Remember, there's an ABBA cover band out there who tour the world and have made more money on the road than Abba did!!!!!!!!??? You do the math.

All musicians are welcome to apply, I don't care if you're black, white, male, female, etc. Please just have the right attitude. If you're a guy who is going to call and say 'great idea but I won't play with a female in the band', please don't waste my time.

I live in Boca, so rehearsals will be in that general area, say from Ft. Lauderdale to Palm Beach .... it all depends where the other musicians are located.

I don't expect this to happen overnight but I think it's a worthwhile project and if it takes time, it takes time.
