Wiener Obsession.

You crave it.
You yearn for it.
Sometimes it comes in a dream.
Perhaps you have even woken up broken out in sweat thinking about it.
It's just short of making your loins quiver.
Don't worry baby, you can have it.
What you need is only an arms length away.

Face it!.
We are obsessed with wieners!

Those crispy crunchy sausage.  When you bite it, that flavorful juice dripping down the sides of your mouth.

Just put one on a toasted seeded roll and grab it with both hands, baby.  Don't be bashful because there's  plenty more for you to handle.

Wieners come in a tremendous variety of shapes and sizes.  Foot long, short and stubby, and rolled in to a ring.

Oh!, what lengths some people will do to get a delicious one!

A multitude of types to be enjoyed. Flavorful beef, pork and spices are combined and gently stuffed in to a sheer casing.  The blend of ingredients differentiate the flavors and textures.

English eat Bangers, Italians use pork with fennel seeds, Polish created Kielbasa and German's enjoy Bratwurst and Weinwurst.  Other flavors include Spicy Cajun, Spanish Chorizo and German Knockwurst.  Wieners are a German cult.  It is the perfect example of an immigrant  group that have brought their culture here.

Americans definitely have their favorite wiener.  It is the Frankfurter.  The hot dog has become an American icon.  Oscar Meyer Co., has epitomize this  by roaming the countryside in their Wiener Mobile.  Can you imagine passing a twenty foot long hot dog on the highway?.  I have seen it and it left me aghast! In the United States hot dogs are to sports as milk is to cookies.

We have tested a few unconventional cooking methods in hot dog preparation.  Most of you grill, broil and boil your "Dogs".  Try one of these new recipes for a change and let us know what you think.  Some of our favorite toppings for hot dogs are hot spicy mustard, catsup, fried peppers and onions, pickle relish, chili, cheddar cheese and crispy bacon.
